When November rolls around, there’s one thing that’s on a lot of people’s minds – Black Friday.
Even if Black Friday just ended that doesn’t mean the deals end. You have another crack at finding great deals thanks to Cyber Monday.
This is one of the best times of the year to buy a vacuum cleaner because of the amazing deals site wide.
The event has not officially started (as of this posting) but it’s good to be ready when the bell rings.
To help you navigate through literally hundreds of products, we’ve rounded up some of the best deals in different categories to help you get the best deal possible.
You can use the table of contents above to go to a category you like or skim through this article and see what you like.
If you’re shopping for a Dyson vacuum, please head over to our Dyson deals page to get the best deals on a Dyson vacuum.
I’ll be primarily focusing deals on vacuum cleaners here since this is a blog about vacuums.
It’s fitting that I start with cordless vacuum since this blog is about it.
These machines are great options is space is a premium since there’s not cord that will get in the way.
The latest variants now come with batteries that will run as much as an hour! No longer are these tools novelty items that can’t click a lick.
Shark IONFlex 2X
Before this Shark cordless vacuum came out, a lot of manufacturers have tried but failed in taking market share from Dyson.
No, it isn’t as powerful or as well-built but what is has is the same versatility for a fraction of a cost.
The IONFlex 2X, thanks to its 2 lithium ion batteries will run for about 50 minutes which is around 5 minutes longer than a Dyson V10. And you don’t need to spend $500 for it.
Shark Navigator FreeStyle SV1106
Most upright vacuums weighs at least 15 pounds and not everyone would be willing to lug that around.
The Shark Navigator FreeStyle offers an option that weighs less than 10 pounds without sacrificing on dirt capacity.
It won’t have as much power as an upright but if you’re just cleaning low pile carpet, this is a great option.
Hoover Linx Stick
Like the Shark Navigator, the Hoover Linx Stick is another floor cleaner that weighs less than 10 pounds.
This is a great option as an in-between cleaner, if you don’t want to lug around a 15 pound beast.
The biggest downside would be the run time. This will run only 12 minutes with the brush roll on.
It will work best on carpet but it’ll also work on bare floor because of the brush roll on/off feature.
The Hoover Cruise is Hoover’s first attempt at challenging the Dyson cordless vacuum line.
Unfortunately, it didn’t go as well as they’d hope it would.
Still it is a good cheap alternative though it won’t be as powerful and not clean as well as a Dyson or even a Shark.
If you want something to clean homes with not much carpet, this is a good affordable alternative.
Bissell Bolt Pet
Pet owners looking for a lightweight cordless 2-in-1 vacuum should consider the Bissel Bolt Pet.
This lightweight cordless weighs less than 6 pounds.
You can use this as a handheld or stick vacuum which makes it a great option for picking up pet hair on floors or upholstery thanks to the main cleaning head and pet hair tool.
It won’t be as powerful as the Shark or Dyson but it’s a heck a lot cheaper.
The Bissell AirRam is a similar product to the GTech AirRam, though much cheaper!
It has the same design – motor at the base to increase efficiency and reduce power loss.
Bissell says that the Li-Ion battery of their vacuum will run for up to 40 minutes. The LED headlights help with visibility and it weighs just 8 pounds.
Biggest downside would be the lack of versatility as this is strictly a floor cleaner.
Shark DuoClean ION P50
The DuoClean ION P50 is one of Shark’s latest cordless vacuums with their patented DuoClean system.
At first glance you’d think this is a plug-in vacuum but it isn’t. It is actually a stick vacuum that morphs into a canister vacuum if that makes sense.
One big advantage of using this type of design is it increases amount of dirt that can be stored without sacrificing versatility.
And it has HEPA filtration that will block out up to 0.3 microns of allergens. The Li-Ion battery will run for up to 50 minutes!
Folks with homes with lots of carpet should definitely look into getting an upright vacuum. These vacuums have the most power and agitation capable of removing dirt under strands of carpet fiber.
Here are some of the best deals of upright vacuums I can find
Shark Rotator TruePet NV803
The Rotator TruePet NV803 is one of the most versatile upright vacuums available right now.
It comes with Shark’s patented Duo Clean system that combines a soft roller bar and bristle brush that work together to clean dirt on different surfaces.
In terms of cleaning performance, this will work best on bare floor. It also comes with the “Lift” feature that separates the dirt bin and motor from the frame, morphing this into a canister vacuum.
Kenmore Elite Pet Friendly Upright
Folks with allergies may want to buy something that has a bag because it is much easier to empty.
The Kenmore Elite Pet Friendly upright is one of the best options available thanks to its large bag.
It has a 3D beltless inducer motor which does not have a belt. This means less maintenance costs because you don’t have to replace any belts.
Oreck Commercial U2000R1
Most uprights available right now are consumer grade.
Meaning if you’d use it in a commercial setting, you’ll void the warranty. The Oreck Commercial will not give you this issue since it was made for commercial use.
Not only can you use this on your office space, you don’t have break your back lugging something over 15 pounds. This upright only weighs 8 pounds.
The biggest downside is this upright will only clean floors but if you’re looking for a lightweight upright that will do the job this is great option. And now is the best time to get one thanks to the huge discount.
Hoover Power Drive Belt UH74210PC
The Power Drive Belt UH74220 is Hoover’s next generation upright vacuums that will provide more agitation and better maneuverability thanks to the swivel steering system not prevent in the older T-Series uprights.
It also has a brush roll on/off feature that makes this very usable on bare floor.
The onboard tools and hose also give this some versatility to be able to clean pet hair on upholstery and stairs.
Hoover T-Series WindTunnel U70120
Buying a Dyson upright would entail spending over $250. But the reality is you don’t need to spend that much $$$ for a decent upright.
If you don’t mind not having the same level Dyson quality or suction then the Hoover T-Series WindTunnel U70120 is a great secondary option.
The WindTunnel technology helps it lift up dirt from carpet strands to provide some deep cleaning action on carpet. It’s also got a retractable 25 food cord that makes it easy to tidy up after a cycling cycle.
Bissell CleanView 1831
The Bissell CleanView 1831 is one of the most affordable uprights available right now that actually will clean carpet.
This machine has what Bissell calls the OnePass technology that combines strong suction and stiff bristles to remove surface dirt in a single pass.
The 8 amp motor is capable of cleaning medium to large homes. It has a 2 liter dirt bin that’s actually bigger than a Dyson so you don’t have to empty as often. It also has a hose and mini turbo brush that gives this some capabilities to clean pet hair from upholstery.
Shark Rocket TruePet HV322
The Rocket TruePet HV322 isn’t a true upright but it does something that other uprights. This is versatility and reach.
It’s almost a Dyson clone but it has a cord. But one different would be ergonomics. Unlike the Dyson that uses a trigger, the Rocket TruePet uses a slide switch that makes less straining on the hands.
The main cleaning head has bright LED lights that make it easier to track dust under furniture.
If you’re looking at more versatility then a canister vacuum is a great option. This machine combines the above the floor reach of a cordless vacuum and the power of an upright.
Pound for pound, a canister will have less power and will not deep as well. But that would also depend on the brand and if it has a motorized brush or not.
Miele C2 Hard Floor
Miele is universally known as one of the best manufacturers of bagged vacuums. And the C2 Hard Floor is a prime example of why.
The 1,200 wat motor is more than enough to clean homes. Take note that this variant will work best on bare floor because of the brush-less main cleaning head.
It also comes with various tools capable of cleaning various surfaces above floor. These include the brush tool and crevice tool.
Kenmore 81614 Bagged with Pet PowerMate
If the Miele C2 is too expensive then you can opt for the chaper Kenmore 81614 Pet PowerMate.
Unlike the Miele C2 that only works on bare floor, the 81614 PowerMate will also work on carpet because the main cleaning head has its own motor.
Cleaning pet hair from upholstery also will not be an issue thanks to the mini turbo brush attachment.
Bissell Hard Floor Expert 1547
For homes with only bare floor, the Bissell Hard Floor Expert is a great option thanks to the soft bristle brush it has in the main cleaning head.
The 9.2 amp motor has enough oomph to clean up most types of dirt on bare floor and upholstery.
However the main cleaning head does not have its own motor. It is driven by air so don’t expect too much in terms of agitation.
Of all the vacuums, handhelds are the lightest and the most nimble. These tools are great for picking up small messes here and there. If you’re looking for something to clean inside your vehicle with – this is a great option.
Shark Pet Perfect LV801
Shark has been known to manufacture purpose built pet hair handhelds over the years such as the Shark Pet Perfect II.
The Pet Perfect LV801 is the latest in their long line of handhelds with some upgrades that improve usability.
This variant comes with a newer Li-Ion battery that will run and last longer.
Eureka EasyClean 71B
Another product that works great on pet hair would be the EasyClean 71B from Eureka. Unlike the Pet Perfect LV801, Eureka’s handheld has a cord so there will be more power on tap.
It has the riser visor feature where the main cleaning head pivots vertically up to 90 degrees allowing you to clean risers. None of the handhelds the market have this feature just yet.
Black & Decker CHV1410L
For cleaning loose debris and pet litter all over your home, the Black & Decker CHV1410L is a great option thanks to its long nozzle and foldable brush tool.
It won’t be as powerful as the higher end BD2000L but it is cheaper. One difference between the two variants would be the battery, this one as a 16 volt Li-Ion that will not last as long.
Shark Rocket HV292 Corded
The Shark Rocket series is one of my personal favorites because it gave consumers an alternative if a Dyson cordless is too expensive.
This variant is a corded version is the handheld version of the Shark Rocket stick vacuum. It has similar features as the Dyson V7 Trigger. The only difference would be this has a cord.
If you want a cheap tool to clean pet hair off upholstery, stairs and inside your vehicle, this is a great option.
Black & Decker BDH2000L
Here’s another Black & Decker option that will work well at cleaning dust and loose dirt.
The BDH2000L is unique in that it has a rotating nozzle that can be set at different angles to clean areas that may not be as accessible if you’re using something larger.
Cleaning ceiling vents will be easy as pie with the flat nozzle and foldable bristles.
Power won’t be an issue as this has around 35 air watts – same as the Dyson V7 in normal mode.
If you have a very schedule and can’t even spare 30 minutes to an hour in vacuum your home then robotic vacuums is a great solution that will do the work for you.
The autonomous property of these machines makes it possible to keep your home clean without having to lift a finger.
But wait there’s more. The latest robot vacuums have advanced features like WiFi and Alexa connectivity that makes it more convenient than ever to own one.
iRobot Roomba 690
One big upgrade with the 690 is the addition of WiFi and Alexa connectivity. The latter gives you voice access to this robot.
It still uses the random navigation pattern that the older Roombas use. But it is also the cheapest available right now.
iRobot Roomba 890
The Roomba 800 series was the first that introduced the bristle-less rubber extractors that has been a staple in the later Roomba robots.
One other upgrade that iRobot did in the 800 series is the navigation.
It tweaked the navigation a little bit to make it less aggressive thus it will not bump as hard on furniture and prevent scuff marks. Like the Roomba 690 this variant has WiFi and Alexa compatibility.
EcoVacs DEEBOT 601
The EcoVacs DEEBOT 601 is a good alternative to the Roomba 690 if spending $300 is too much.
This is proof that you don’t have to spend that much $$$ for a robot vacuum with WiFi and Alexa.
And for Black Friday you can enjoy more savings of up to 43%.
Performance isn’t too shabby either thanks to the lithium ion battery that will last for around 2 hours.
Neato BotVac Connected
The BotVac Connected was the first variant from Neato that had WiFi and Alexa connectivity. It is also their first product to use the S.L.A.M. Algorithm that results in a more efficient cleaning pattern and the ability to clean multiple rooms.
This software allows this robot to know where exactly it is and return to that same location after it recharges.
Since the BotVac Connected was release, Neato also has unveiled other variants like the D3 (only BotVac D-series without a side brush), D4, D5, D6 and D7.
Shark Cleaning System S87
The Shark Cleaning System S87 is a cheaper alternative to the Roomba I7. Both of these robots have a unique feature that not a lot of robots have so far – a secondary vacuum that cleans the bin.
The I7 will cost much more – at around $900. This robot will cost much less at the $500 mark and it has WiFi and Alexa compatibility.
The Bobi Classic is one of the cheapest autonomous vacuum available right now at the sub $200 mark. However, unlike the Neato and iRobot, it lacks WiFi and Alexa compatibility. If you don’t mind this limitation it is a good option.
It has counter rotation brushes that will work well at picking up pet hair. Though you’ll have to spend time cleaning long hair that wraps around it.
