Okay I did a quick research and saw the article. Yes James Dyson claims (check the link below) that the V10 battery will last with 15 years, maybe more. According to the article from Tech Radar, James Dyson says “Fifteen years of daily use might get you down to 80% battery”. One factor for this longevity is the trigger which allows you to stretch out the battery.

another site comparing the 2 models said the battery on the V8 had to be replaced about every 2 years at a cost of ~ $39 each time, vs the V10 whose battery lasts for 15 years. Is this true? That would give a big advantage to the V10 as it’s annoying when batteries run down- the charges don’t last and then you have to find a place that sells them.

I have had Dysons in the past but have problem with long hair getting tangled in the bristles. I have told Dyson about this and one of the customer services people said his sister had same problem. Has this been resolved or sorted in any way please?
