Affiliate Disclosure

Cordless Vacuum Guide earns money through affiliate commissions and display advertising. This page explains exactly how that works, what it means for you, and the safeguards we have in place to keep our reviews honest.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and applies to all content on bestcordlessvacuumguide.com.

How We Earn Revenue

We earn money in two ways:

Affiliate commissions — When you click a product link on our site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. You pay the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the store. We currently participate in the Amazon Associates Program, the Walmart Affiliate Program, and the Lupe Pure Affiliate Program.

Display advertising — We run ads through Mediavine. These are the banner and sidebar ads you see throughout the site.

These two revenue streams fund the entire operation: buying vacuums, testing equipment, website hosting, and the time spent writing and filming reviews.

How We Protect Our Reviews From Bias

Earning commissions from product links creates an obvious question: does the money influence what we recommend? Here is how we guard against that:

We buy most vacuums ourselves. The majority of vacuums reviewed on this site are purchased at retail price, the same way you would buy them. This keeps manufacturers out of the testing process entirely.

When a manufacturer sends a product, we say so. If a brand provides a vacuum for review, we disclose it on that review page. The product still goes through the same standardized testing as every other vacuum. A provided unit does not receive different treatment, better scores, or softer criticism.

Testing determines the verdict, not commissions. Every vacuum goes through the same battery of tests: suction, airflow, debris pickup, hair wrap, runtime, noise, and filtration. The results are measured, not estimated. A vacuum that performs poorly in testing gets a critical review regardless of how much commission it might generate.

We do not accept payment for reviews. No brand has ever paid us to write or alter a review. We do not run sponsored content disguised as independent reviews.

You can read our full Editorial Guidelines and see exactly how each test is conducted in our Testing Methodology.

What Are Affiliate Links?

Affiliate links are URLs that contain a tracking code identifying our site as the referral source. When you click one and complete a purchase, the retailer pays us a commission — typically a small percentage of the sale price.

The price you pay is not affected. You are not charged extra for using an affiliate link.

Not every link on this site is an affiliate link. Links to our own content, manufacturer spec pages, and external resources are standard links with no tracking or commission.

Your Privacy

Affiliate links use cookies to track referrals, which is standard across nearly all affiliate programs. We do not have access to your personal information, purchase history, or payment details through these links. For full details on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
